Allan Bennett

Allan “AL” Bennett, 70, of Smithland died on Sunday, February 5, 2017.

Mr. Bennett was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired farm laborer for Jim Smith Contracting.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one brother, Ron Bennett of Des Moines, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Kaye Bennett.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
