Arvin Grant Jones

Arvin Grant Jones, 71, of Gilbertsville passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his home in Gilbertsville.

Mr. Grant was a retired truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with family.

Surviving are two daughters, Tammy (George) Hodge of Burna and Tracy (Mark) Johnson of California; one son, Michael Jones of Gilbertsville; one sister, Carolyn Brazil of Eddyville; six grandchildren, Hunter Shane Fawks, Stevie Joe Yates, Austin Johnson, Taylor Toney, Randall Yates,and Sabrina Yates; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruddell and Mary Jones;

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday July 1, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland. Burial will follow at Cothron Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00am till service hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
