Evelyn M. Hesser

Evelyn Hesser, 69, of Smithland died on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Hesser was a foster parent, homemaker, and of the Christian faith.

Surviving is her husband, William Hesser of Smithland; eight children, James Hesser, Pamela French, Troy Hesser, Mary Ellen Quertermous, Monica Cooley, Ashlie Hesser, Louis Williamson, Kelsey Hesser; her mother, Wanda Copeland; six brothers and sisters; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Penman; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harry Todd officiating. Burial will follow at Smithland Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
