Joyce D (Burd) Smith

Joyce D. Smith, 88, of Ledbetter passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church in Ledbetter.
Surviving are four children, Connie Smith of Smithland, Curtis Smith of Ledbetter, Joy Ramage and husband Darrell of Ledbetter, and Dickey Smith of Smithland; seven grandchildren, Kim Knotts, Tom Thompson, Emily Sirk, Carrie Smith, Ashlee Orr, Amber Traylor, and Haley Smith; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Burd and Lina Stringer-Burd.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.
Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
