Lucy Richardson

Miss Lucy Christine Richardson, 92 of Grand Rivers, left this world to meet and celebrate with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 23, 2019 at Livingston Hospital in Salem.

Miss Lucy loved her Lord and her family. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Rivers and loved her Sunday School class. She enjoyed being outside, planting her flowers, and working in her little garden. She was full of life and never passed a chance to spread God’s word.

She is survived by one son, Gary Richardson of Melber; two daughters, Vogene (Larry) Crouch of Tiline and Reita (Mike) Koon of Grand Rivers; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Chester Richardson; three sons, Jerry Lynn, Robert, and Ronnie; one granddaughter, Tanya Jo; two brothers, Frank and George Knight; two sisters, Goldie Hall and Gertrude Mitchell; and her parents, Charley and Millie Knight.

Friends may call Tuesday August, 27 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland. Miss Lucy’s celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm. Burial will be held after the service at Leeper Cemetery in Smithland.
