Teddy E. Doom

Teddy Edwin Doom, 73, of Grand Rivers passed away on January 16, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Doom was a carpenter.  He enjoyed farming, spending time with his family, and camping.  He treasured time spent with his camping family.  He was a member of Groves Chapel Church.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edna doom; one son, James Doom of Smithland; one daughter, Amy Dukes and husband Wade of Grand Rivers; three brothers, Louie Doom of Grand Rivers, Willis Doom of Salem, and Holland Doom of Smithland; five grandchildren, Amber Guill, Cory Doom, Kayla Doom, David Ray Dukes and Teddy Lee Dukes; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norvin and Edria Doom; two sisters, Charles Marie Timmons and Nadine Doom; three brothers, Loye Doom, Courtney Doom and Hugh Doyle Doom.

Funeral Services will be at Smith Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 1:00pm with Bro. Bill Talley officiating.  Burial will follow at Grove Chapel Cemetery in Tiline.

Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Groves Chapel Cemetery, C/O Ivalois Owens, 1647 Tiline Road, Tiline, KY 42083.
