Alice Faye Armstong, 83, of Smithland entered her Heavenly home on July 29, 2024.
Alice was married to her husband, Bill for 50 years. She was a business owner alongside her husband, of Bill’s Quick Service in Smithland. To know Alice was to love Alice and her compassionate heart. She was a staple in her community and a longtime caregiver for so many. Alice left a legacy of hard work, dedication to her community and a love for her friends and family. She loved the outdoors, the tasks of homemaking and her dear dog, Oliver. Alice was a lifelong member of Fellowship Baptist Church, but later attended First Baptist Church of Smithland.
Surviving is her son, Jeff (Amber) Armstrong of Smithland; four grandchildren, Crystal (Jason) Faulk of Jacksonville, FL, Jessica (Kevin) Haynes of Benton, Alison (Cody) Clark of Mayfield, Audrey Goodaker (Johnathon) of Smithland; four great-grandchildren, Sierra Haynes and Ethan Haynes both of Benton, Lillian Faulk and Gabe Faulk both of Jacksonville, FL; two special nieces, Kathy Tyree and Cyndi Chrastka; her close friend, Nancy Lloyd; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Benjamin Armstong; her son, Ricky Armstrong; daughter in law, Lorie Armstrong; her parents, Ebert and Katherine Helfer; and one sister, Nancy Baldwin.
Private family graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.
