Biography Brenda Joyce Creekmore, 65, of Smithland died Monday at her daughters residence in Hardin, Ky. Mrs. Creekmore formerly worked at Syntecnics in Reidland and is of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Creekmore Rice of Hardin and Joyce Faye Creekmore-Belt of Calvert City; two brothers, Billy Joe Edmonds and Jackie Dean Edmonds both of Smithland; one sister, Phyllis Kay Edmonds of Smithland; four grandsons, William Thomas Belt, Thomas Scott Creekmore, Mark Anthony Belt Jr., and Shohn David Creekmore; four granddaughters, Nesika F. Westbrook, Victoria J. Creekmore, Amelia J. Rice, and Leanna J. Rice; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard T. Creekmore; her parents, Dean and Alma Edmonds; one son, Thomas E. Creekmore; six brothers and three sisters.
Services will be at 1:00pm Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland. Burial will follow at Smithland Cemetery in Smithland.
Friends may call after 5:00pm Thursday and after 8am Friday morning until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
