Charles Dubuque

Charles Harry Dubuque, 78, of Ledbetter died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

He was a 25-year employee for the former Mid West Dairy in Paducah, and was retired from USEC as a laborer and escort. He was a founder and original lifetime member of the Ledbetter Church of Christ and a former songleader and maintenance keeper for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Esther Crotchett Dubuque; 1 daughter, Rita Karen Dubuque Driver and husband Richard of Ledbetter; 2 sons, Charles Ronnie Dubuque and wife Beverly of Paducah, and James Ricky Dubuque of Ledbetter; 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Russ and Reis Driver of Ledbetter and Ricky Dubuque Jr. of Symsonia; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Penley and Cora Belle Parker Dubuque.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Ledbetter Church of Christ in Ledbetter, Ky.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday, August 27, at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland and after 11 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2010, at the church, with Brother David Myers and Brother Kent Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.
