Debbie Mifflin, 60, of Grand Rivers passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. She had a special love for animals. Debbie’s mission was “to take care of my family and all the homeless animals or orphaned animals that came my way. She cared for lots of dogs, cats, possums, squirrels, deer, and lots of calves and cows.”
Surviving is her husband, David Mifflin of Grand Rivers; three daughters, Heather (Nathan) Thompson of Smithland, Amanda Mifflin of Grand Rivers, Caitlyn Mifflin of Grand Rivers; her mother, Rebecca Cantrell of Smithland; one sister, Cindy Mifflin of Grand Rivers; two grandchildren, Dawson Thompson and Case Thompson both of Smithland; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Mifflin.
Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Gill officiating. Burial will follow at Tiline Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 10:00am to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
