Gary Noles

Gary Joe Noles, 58 of Smithland lost his battles with liver failure at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville on Thursday, March 29, 2012.

Gary was a 1971 graduate of Livingston Central High School. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Grand Rivers and a 35 year employee of Westlake Chemical Corporation in Calvert City. Gary enjoyed church, being a husband and father, and participating in bass fishing tournaments. He held the title “Angler of the Year” on several occasions.

Surviving are Gary’s wife of thirty four years, Tammy Jo Noles; his son, Joshulin Noles and daughter Kala Marie Noles, both of Paducah; his mother, Jessie Lee Noles of Ledbetter; one brother, Teddy Ray Noles of Ledbetter; one sister, Carolyn Blohm of Spotsville, KY; sisters in law Mona Lanier of Decatur, IL, Sandra Krenn of Kalamazoo, MI, and Joyce McKinney of Ledbetter; and brothers in law Bobby, David and Will Gainey; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Noles and one sister in law, Judy Sexton.

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday at Friendship Baptist Church in Grand Rivers. Burial will follow at Cothran Cemetery in Livingston County.

Friends may call after 5:00 pm Sunday at the church. Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
