J. Lynn Sauvage

J. Lynn Sauvage, age 91, passed away Saturday December 5, 2015 at his home.

He was born December 31, 1923. He was a member of Iuka Baptist Church, and a member of Smithland Masonic Lodge #138. He retired from SKW after 32 years.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 71 years, Kathleen Sauvage; twin Daughters, Diona Long (Larry) of Smithland, Ky. Iona Johnson (Eddie) of Forest Hill, Maryland. Grandsons Mark Long of Smithland, Ky. James Lynn Johnson & Chris Johnson of Forest Hill, Maryland. Great Granddaughters Ashton & Ally Long of Smithland, Ky. Samantha, Emily, Jackie and Kaylin Johnson all of Forest Hill, Maryland.Sisters Vivian Vaughn of Reidland, KY. Mary Z. Thomason of Marshall Co. Gloria Slayden of Murphysboro, Tn. Brother L.D. Sauvage Jr. of Calvert City, and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents Lorenzo Sauvage and Zetta Driskill Sauvage, Sister Lou Ella Coffer, Brothers Paul Sauvage and Devon Sauvage.

Visitation will be on Monday December 7, at 4:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland with Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Iuka Baptist Church with visitation at the church 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Paradise Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Williams officiating.
