James Ferrell

James Dewayne Ferrell, 52, of Grand Rivers died at 8:02 p.m. Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Ferrell was an installer for Commercial Door and Hardware, a volunteer firefighter for 23 years with Smithland Fire and Rescue, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Smithland.
Surviving are his mother, Loretta Walker Patton of Smithland; his wife, Brenda Ferrell; one daughter, Heather Walker of Grand Rivers; one son, David Ferrell of Grand Rivers; one brother, Tony Ferrell of Tiline; three grandchildren; two nieces; and one great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ferrell; and his stepfather, Lee Reynolds.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Grand Rivers with the Rev. Jerry Brewer officiating.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Smith Funeral Chapel of Smithland is in charge of arrangements.
