Juanita (Walker) Drennan

November 13, 1930 — July 10, 2017

Juanita Drennan, 86, of Smithland passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Drennan was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Livingston County Homemakers, Livingston County Historical Society, and the Smithland First Baptist Church for over 50 years.

She loved reading, crocheting and gardening.

Surviving are three sons, Daryl Dickerson of Ledbetter, Kendal Dickerson of Covington, KY, Lynn Dickerson of Ledbetter; one daughter, Delores Gass Hensley of Kevil; one sister, Babe Smith of Tiline; 13 grandchildren, Tammy Cummins, Clara Reba Warren, Thomas Ray Dickerson, Erica Rae McKinley, Nina Kijinski, Michael Dickerson, David Dickerson, Meagan Karkoski, Misty Johnson, Robbie Weatherford, Trae Higdon, Heather Higdon and Thumper Mathis; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Franklin Gass and Ray Drennan Jr.; one brother, James Thomas Walker; and one sister, Wanda Walker Bolton.

Funeral services will be at 12:00pm on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Wayne Carter and Shawn Vandergriff officiating.  Burial will follow at Scott’s Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm - 8:00pm on Friday at the funeral home.
