Mary Hansen

Mary A. Hansen, 71, of Grand Rivers died Monday at Lourdes Hospital.
Miss Mary was the Animal Caretaker at Patti's restaurant for over 20 years. She had a great love for all animals and their well-being. Among her variety of skills and talents, she enjoyed working in her many flower gardens. Mary was also associated with the Reformed Church.

Surviving are her husband, Clifford Hansen Sr.; sons Clifford "Butch" Hansen Jr. of Grand Rivers, Jim and Jeff Hansen of Racine, WI, and Dan Hansen of Columbus, NE; daughters Connie Goldsworthy of Racine, WI, Lynne Kneale of Gilbert, AZ, and Donna Pinnow of Racine, WI; brothers Arthur Currier of Adrian MI, and Steve and Andrew Currier of Toledo OH; sisters Frances Vince of Toledo OH, Florence Boyd of Toledo OH, Louise Bartlett of Toledo OH, Lillian Whipple of Adrian MI, and Pauline Demyer of Brooklyn MI. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grand children, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Currier, her father James Currier, one son, Dean Hansen, and one brother, Paul Currier.

Services will be Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel at 11:00am, with the Rev. Larry Smith and Chip Tullar officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Grand Rivers, following the services.

Visitation will be Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel, after 5:00pm.
