Merlin James Temple

Merlin James Temple, 85, of Smithland, KY. died on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at his home.

He is survived by six children; Vicki (Lynden) Chase, Tracy (Denise) Temple, Michelle (Curt) Hodge, Kenneth (Laurie) Temple, Jim Temple, and Mark (Kathy) Temple, and one brother, John Malinowski; half-sister, Linda (Arnold, "Sonny") Alsvig; several nieces and nephews, and a grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Helen and John Malinowski; his father, Bruce Temple; and brothers, Richard and Jack.

Graveside services will be 11:00am on Saturday May 18, 2024 at Tiline Cemetery in Tiline, KY with the Rev. Bennie Chandler officiating.

Smith Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
