Nell Merrick

Nell Marie Merrick, 78, of Grand Rivers died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 4:56 p.m. at Lourdes Hospital.
Mrs. Merrick was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was
retired.
Surviving are one son, William Kim Brasher of Grand Rivers; one daughter, Kathy Brasher Main of West Paducah; three brothers, Paul Driskill of Grand Rivers, Wilton Driskill of Grand Rivers, and Larry Driskill of Paducah; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.W. Merrick and her parents, Everett Driskill and Odetta Driskill.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. James Oates officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland.
