Ollie Paris

Loyd Paris, 92, of Tiline died at 6:30pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Salem Spring Lake Nursing Home.

Mr. Paris was a World War II Army Veteran, member of the Smithland & Villa Park, IL Masonic Lodge and retired machinist.

Surviving is one son, Wayne Paris of Addison, IL; two daughters, Rita Paris of The Woodlands, TX, Sandy Paris Lane of Tiline; two sisters, Frankie Champion of Smithland, Lavenia Parrish of Ledbetter; one brother, Cecil Paris of Smithland; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Davis Paris; his parents, Ollie Paris and Maude Elvin Paris; and one son, Wallace Paris.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Fred Lowrance officiating. Burial will follow at Iuka Cemetery with military honors.

Friends may call from 12:00pm to funeral hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
