Owda Tracy

Owda Leon Tracy, 87 of Smithland, died at 8:30pm Monday at his residence.



Mr. Tracy was a member of Tiline First Baptist Church in Tiline, he was a retired mechanic for Airco Carbide in Calvert City.



He is survived by his daughter; Penny Oliver of Smithland, 2 sons; Gerald Tracy and Stewart Tracy both of Smithland, 1 sister; Iva Nell Clark of Lone Oak, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his wife; Nellie Grey Sunderland Tracy, his parents; Ed and Nannie Burns Tracy and a son, Michael Tracy



Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday at Tiline First Baptist Church in Tiline. Rev. Allen Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Groves Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 9:00pm Thursday at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland and from 12noon until the funeral hour Friday at the church.
