William Belcher
October 19, 1925 — January 23, 2013
William Rudell Belcher, 85 of Henderson, KY passed away at 3:00am on January 21, 2011 at Redbanks Nursing Home.
Mr. Belcher was retired from Air Products of Calvert City after 32 years. He and his father operated the Third Street Parking Lot in Paducah for 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII where he served in the Pacific theater.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Esther Belcher. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jean Thomason Belcher; two sons, Rudy Belcher and his wife Felicia, and Kent Belcher and his wife Tina, all of Henderson. He had three grandchildren, Kris Belcher, Megan Belcher and David Belcher.
Services will be at Smith Funeral Chapel in Smithland, KY on Sunday, January 23rd at 2:00pm, with Bro. F. Wayne Carter and Bro. Andrew Sexton officiating. Burial will be at Smithland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00pm to 6:00pm Saturday and after 12:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kris Belcher, Megan Belcher, David Belcher, David Thomason, Joe Thomason, and Tim Thomason.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Smithland First Baptist Church Building Fund.
