Obituary

Frankie L. Champion, 89, of Smithland, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehab.

Frankie was a bus driver for Livingston County schools and was a member of The Potter’s House Church.

Frankie is survived by one son, Steve Champion; one sister, Lavenia Parrish; two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seven step great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Frankie in death is her husband, James Earl Champion; one son, Earl Van Champion; her parents, Ollie and Maude Paris; and seven siblings.

Funeral services for Frankie will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rex Jones and Bro. Fred Lowrance officiating. Burial will follow at Scotts Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and again on Thursday from 11:00 am to service hour.
